Why we started Grace and Glam

A grandmother. A granddaughter.

Grace and Glam was built by a grandmother who spent a decade cleaning homes for family and friends during one of the hardest seasons of her life, and a granddaughter who has watched the women in her family carry everything alone. Both of us have carried our own weight. Mental. Financial. Spiritual.

Clarissa found purpose in cleaning. Now she is doing it on her own terms for the first time. I am helping her build it.

A clean home is not about impressing anyone. It is a clean mental state. A clean spiritual state. A fresh start when nothing else is working.

We built Grace and Glam to clean homes. It grew into cleaning spirits.

Every home is different, so every clean is built around your space. Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas all get deep attention, and we tailor the checklist to what your home actually needs. During your free walkthrough, we go through the exact scope together so there's no guesswork.

Grace & Glam may take photos or video during a service for quality documentation or content purposes. We always ask for permission before recording and never film without your knowledge. Recording does not happen on every job. If you prefer no recording under any circumstances, just let us know when you book.

On the call, we walk through your space together using your phone camera and give you a personalized cleaning quote. We're a family-run, woman-owned cleaning service — Clarissa and her granddaughter working side by side, rooted in Brooklyn. You're not being handed off to a random rotating crew from a call center. You meet the owner face-to-face before anyone ever steps into your home, and she's personally accountable for every clean. That's something the big chains simply can't offer.

Yes — we bring all of our own cleaning products and tools, so you don't need to prep a thing. The only exceptions are a vacuum and a carpet cleaner, which we ask you to have on hand if your home needs them.
